About Us

Our lead instructor has 18 years of Law Enforcement experience, and a deep understanding of the legal and safety aspects of firearms training. Hector began his Law Enforcement career in Los Angeles, California where he worked primarily in special units while with the Los Angeles Police Department. One of the most thrilling assignments was narcotics and gangs. Hector attended and completed 5-day instructor school and began teaching gang courses to new officers. He was part of the rifle cadre and soon became a certified firearms instructor with the state of Oregon and Washington. He has attended several survival skill tactics courses and shooting defensive courses. His tenuered Law Enforcement career enables him to bring real life situations to student training. 

For the last 5 years Hector has been a certified firearms instructor for both Washington and Oregon state. After attending a 5-day instructor development course with the Criminal Justice Training Center, he is able to prepare and present knowledge and psychomotor-based training in a classroom environment. These tools allow him to navigate different learning modalities. His goal is to pass along his extensive experience, ensuring that students from all skill levels walk away feeling comfortable with weapon manipulation and marksmanship.

Our instructors are state certified firearms instructors for both Oregon and Washington, ensuring that our courses meet the highest standards of safety and proficiency. For the last 5 years Hector has been a certified firearms instructor for both  states. Additionally, he is state certified instructor for all unarmed courses in both states. Certified Taser Instructor, Baton Instructor, Pepper Spray and handcuffing Instructor.
